Once in a Blue Moon Giveaway

One of my lucky readers can win a copy of Eileen Goudge's Once In a Blue Moon and a copy of Eileen Goudge's best seller Woman in Red. All you need to do is leave me a comment here. Tell me, what's the best book you've read recently? Why do you think it's the best? I'm still trying to muddle my way through the 52 Books Challenge, so I am all ears!

Winner will be chosen at random on October 26, so Comment!

Good Luck!

UPDATE: Contest is now Closed.  Congratulations to Kristin on her win!

  1. The last two books I read (I know you only asked for one but it's the same author and I read them back to back) were Steve Martin's "Shopgirl" and "The Pleasure of my company". I loved them both. I was caught up by the characters from the opening pages and held till the end. One is a bittersweet love story of sorts and the other a peek into an obsessive/compulsive man's life.

  2. The Help by Kathryn Stockett...
Very well written. Kathryn Stockett had the vernacular so well done that I could hear the characters voices. This book really opened my eyes to life in the 1960's in the Southern States. I was blown away by some of the ideas that people still had.

  3. The Shadow Queen by Anne Bishop was an awesome book. I also really loved The Knitting Circle by Ann Hood. In fact, I liked it enough to write my own review of it.

  4. The best book I've read recently was BURN by Erin Healy and Ted Dekker. It comes out in January and wow, it had an awesome twist!

  5. Recently I read The Art of Racing in the Rain - it was a different read since it was written from a dog's perspective... also, Summer At Tiffany is a great book!!!!! And I also finished Black Hills by Nora Roberts which was good, but in a totally different way...
